Life Enrichment at Maple Knoll Village

Maple Knoll Village provides an exceptional living experience for residents. Located in the Greater Cincinnati area, our community is just moments away from shopping, dining, and entertainment. With the comfort provided by maintenance free living, our residents are free to live vibrant, active, and fulfilling lives.

Creating art can enhance brain function and even raise serotonin levels. We offer a variety of guided art classes led by both residents and professionals in the community.

Residents have the opportunity to join various clubs on campus such as writing club, drama club, book club, golf scramble, the community garden club, and much more. All clubs are led by fellow residents and meet independently.

Various committees focused on dining, technology, safety, sustainability, hospitality, and activities make up Resident’s Council. Residents work with staff in these committees to provide suggestions to improve campus life. Those suggestions are then reviewed by management.

Assistant Director of Food Service, Chris Jenkins, provides monthly cooking demonstrations. This interactive program allows residents to attend a live demonstration and enjoy all of the food afterwards.

Whether you’re interested in learning more about the history of Cincinnati, fall prevention tips, how to illustrate a cartoon, or healthy habits – we guarantee there is a guest speaker that will pique your interest.

Music enriches the lives of everyone. Our Auditorium is the perfect location for local bands and artists to perform including students from the University of Cincinatti College Conservatory of Music.

Overnight trips are a great way to get out of town without the hassle of finding transportation, booking a room, or traveling alone. A favorite resident overnight trip is the fall foliage road trip to Parkersburg, West Virginia.

Conveniently located in the heart of the greater Cicinnati area, there is always a trip scheduled to explore the area. Scheduled outings are provided to community events, museums, restaurants, stores, and more.

Socialization with friends and family is proven to improve an older adult’s emotional, mental, and physical health. Residents are provided with consistent socialization opportunities including weekly happy hours and monthly parties.

We strive to find fun and interactive ways to educate our residents about technology. Regular technology classes provide the perfect environment to learn skills such as sending a text message, downloading a new app, or even setting up a new smart device.

With something for everyone, Maple Knoll is the perfect place to try out a new hobby. Try your hand at a game of shuffleboard, practice with the outdoor golf driving cage, learn how to weave, or take up a game of ping pong (an all-time resident favorite).

At Maple Knoll Village, we believe your retirement years are best lived to the fullest! With numerous life enriching activities, clubs, and outings available, adventure is always just around the corner. Our residents are encouraged to stay active by filling their days with as much, or as little, excitement as they wish.
